Trivandrum Mar Ivanios College football ground. A glossy evening of 1970s. We were playing with energy and life. Suddenly, the windows of heaven opened and began to rain. "Run away from rain", Fr. Panicker, the principal shouted. Students including the players ran to Sarvodaya School premises to escape from rain. The rain was heavy and created boredom among us and we the players and viewers got mingled. For a time pass, we started to create poems and recite loudly, developed stories and told aloud. The rain was that much lengthy that most of us could contribute our talents and ideas."I realized a magazine spouted in my mind." Though the rain was shutdown, a lightning which sparked in my mind remained with creating and editing articles. When can I assemble these talents together? How can I assemble these?

Antarctica - Hitting Rock Bottom Never Felt So Good
I’d be lying if I said that going to the Antarctic was a lifelong dream of mine, but in
the last six years the dream of hitting all seven continents was conceived. After
starting with Asia in 2007, then Europe in 09, Australia, and Africa followed last
year, the dream to go to the Antarctic started to become an obsession. A good
friend of mine put me onto the idea a few years ago as he had done a day trip to
King George Island from Punta Arenas, Chile. I put the idea out of my head as I
wasn’t anywhere near the bottom of Chile or Argentina to make it happen. As I
started planning my trip (that currently I’m on) and put South America into the
itinerary I started to think more about the opportunity to get to King George
Island, which is on the northern tip of the Antarctic. The window to take part in
one of the excursions is quite small. There are basically four months when they
run trips - November to March - the South American summer. Beyond that it’s
impossible to get in and out for tour operators, or anyone else for that matter.
Once I got over to the US from South Africa in September, I knew the timing could
work out where I could make a possible trip happen.
